"The Cricket Game" - Regina is accused of murdering one of the town's most beloved fairytale characters -- but only Emma senses that she may be innocent. Meanwhile, back in the fairytale land that was, after capturing the Evil Queen, Snow White and Prince Charming set about planning her public execution in order to rid the land of her murderous tyranny, on "Once Upon a Time," SUNDAY, JANUARY 6 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
"Once Upon a Time" stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as Evil Queen/Regina, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David, Emilie de Ravin as Belle, Jared S. Gilmore as Henry Mills, Meghan Ory as Red Riding Hood/Ruby, and Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold.
Guest starring are Raphael Sbarge as Archie Hopper/Jiminy Cricket, Lee Arenberg as Leroy/Grumpy, Barbara Hershey as Cora, Keegan Connor Tracy as Mother Superior/Blue Fairy, Colin O'Donoghue as Hook, Tony Perez as Valet, Beverley Elliott as Granny, David-Paul Grove as Doc, Gabe Khouth as Mr. Clark/Sneezy, Faustino Di Bauda as Sleepy, Jeffrey Kaiser as Dopey, Michael Coleman as Happy, Mig Macario as Bashful, David Nykl as fisherman and Michael Soltis as Black Knight No. 1.
"The Cricket Game" was written by David H. Goodman & Robert Hull and directed by Dean White.
"Once Upon a Time" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format with a 5.1 channel surround sound. A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to the airdate.

The overnight numbers for last night's return were quite good, considering the competition from football telecasts, etc. -- virtually the same figures as in Ep. 9.
ABC's Sunday Dramas Return Strong Against Big Competition Categories: Network TV Press Releases Written By Sara Bibel January 7th, 2013 via press note: On its first telecast in 5 weeks opposite Fox’s NFL Playoff-fueled lineup (NFC Wildcard Game) and original programming on NBC, the return of Once Upon A Time made ABC the most-watched TV network in Sunday’s 8 o’clock hour and also led its time slot across all key Women (W18-34/W18-49/W25-54). On its return, Once Upon A Time more than tripled its Adult 18-49 lead-in (+244%) at 8pm to retain 100% of its last airing in the hour on December 2, 2012. In addition, the Disney-owned drama was up over its last telecast in Adults 18-34 (+4%) and Kids 2-11 (+14%), hitting its best numbers since the beginning of November – since 11/4/12.
On ABC, Once Upon A Time earned a 3.1 adults 18-49 rating even with its fall finale on December 2.Most of your predictions were a little optimistic. Revenge scored a 2.3 among adults 18-49 down 4% from a 2.4 on December 2. The timeslot premiere of Happy Endings garnered a series low 1.0 adults 18-49 rating down 23% from a 1.3 on Tuesday, December 18. Don’t Trust The B in Apt. 23 tied it series low with a 0.9 among adults 18-49 down 18% from a 1.1 on Tuesday, December 18.. -

I loved the episode on Sunday night! Emma was in full out mom mode to protect Henry and I loved all the Charming family bonding. They really do have to figure out what it means for them to all be a family now. I'm glad Archie isn't dead but he may want to be after spending time with Hook and Cora! I felt a little bad for Regina for a while until I was reminded of how evil she's been in the past and that she's really brought all this stuff on herself (unfortunately with a little help from Cora though). It will be interesting to see if they continue this road to redemption for her. It was sad to see Snow so desperate to believe that the Evil Queen could change and then see her fail the test. I think Snow has always wanted her to change but never believed it to be possible.
Oh yeah, I LOVED Emma & Henry walking in on Snow and Charming's little moment together! Emma's face was beyond priceless and Charming's line about them still being able to give Emma traumatic childhood memories at this stage of the game was even more priceless, LOL

It was sad to see Snow so desperate to believe that the Evil Queen could change and then see her fail the test. I think Snow has always wanted her to change but never believed it to be possible.
And much of the same instincts pass from the mother to the daughter. Emma was the only one who was moved to invite Regina to the party to help her (Regina's) alleged journey to redemption. Emma also showed those Snow instincts in properly believing that Regina didn't do in Archie. Still, I think one of the most entertaining arcs in the show will be the unresolved struggle over Henry between Emma and Regina. It will be a wild ride, so buckle up.
