Explanation of terms, please...
Forgive me while I put on and adjust my dunce cap...... :wacko:

What is the meaning of "manip?" I thought that it had something to do with changing an image on a computer. How does that differ from what Photoshop does? :huh:

Difficult to explain! A manipulation is the creation of an image feint. Basically, two or more photos merged together. Usually the subject that is manipulated it is human body that is fused with the face of another person. While the correction of the image is "correct" flaws, shades, light and so on. Either you use photoshop, but usually is indicated for the correction of defects.

Aha, many thanks, Aleki, for taking the time to explain this. I get it, now. I had an idea that the Photoshop app/program is the driving force for changes to photos. I'm still in the dark ages when it comes to the techno terms, and manip was a new one for me. Hey, this is a good day -- I learned something new.
