Nope, I don't think it was just you, Heather. The reviewer, Maureen Ryan, is, IMHO, quite professional and I have genuine respect for her opinions. I think she honestly tried to write a balanced piece, but that can be tougher to do than to write 22 superb episodes for any TV drama.

Besides her praise for Jennifer's performances, she also impressed me -- and I'm probably in the minority on this -- for having the courage to reveal criticism for some of the work of Ginnifer and Lana, something that will ignite a firestorm from most fans. It was certainly a lengthy review, longer than a Bill Clinton speech early in his career. People will take from it what they like--or not.
