Julia Morrison

Julia grew up in the Chicago area. She began her performance career at the age of five singing Disney songs in the stalls of acoustically pleasing bathrooms around the Midwest. She could also be seen on commercials, in print adds, and in small movie roles. One of her favorite experiences was recording the voice of Weebette for the Disney Feature Film “Flubber.” She earned a BFA in Music Theatre from Illinois Wesleyan University, where she won the concerto aria competition. During that time, she also performed twice at the Bel Canto Bravo awards night in Chicago and began performing at regional theaters across the country. Some of her favorite stage roles include, Sandy in “Grease,” Annabel Glick in “Lucky Stiff,” Dainty June in “Gypsy,” Mabel in “Pirates of Penzance,” Maria in “The Sound of Music,” and Maggie in “A Chorus Line.” Julia is currently living in Los Angeles where she is playing the recurring role of Screaming Mimi in a new Marvel Animation Series, “Super Hero Squad.”
