CITAZIONEWhen will we find out which fairy tale character the Sheriff is on Once Upon a Time? And will we recognize him? — John
NATALIE: "I would say you would know exactly who he is and what his role is when you find out," executive producer Edward Kitsis promises. As for your first question, since it appears the mysterious sheriff is not long for this world, I'm guessing we'll find out very soon — like this week.

'Once Upon a Time' EPs: 'Cauldron of emotions that leads to'
By Andrea Reiher
December 10, 2011 9:45 PM ET
"Once Upon a Time" has its midseason finale coming up Sunday (Dec. 11) with the episode "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter." Zap2it spoke with executive producers Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis about what we can look forward to before the show goes on hiatus.
Warning: Some slight spoilers ahead, though what is discussed is already out there on the internet. But you've been warned anyway.
We first had to inquire as to the relationship between Sheriff Graham and Emma Swan - which we know from some publicity stills is heating up this episode.
"Coming out of the end of [episode six], Emma is in a raw emotional place, trying to come to terms with her feelings about what she discovered about Graham. Graham is also in a very raw emotional place because he's clearly conflicted and it's this cauldron of emotions that leads to the kiss," says Horowitz.
"We're really excited that the kiss that you've seen is really just the jumping off point of the story we're telling," says Kitsis. "It's not like it ends with the kiss, it starts with that and it takes us somewhere that we're excited to show you."
We wonder what Mayor Regina will think about her boy toy cavorting with her nemesis.
"If you were frightened at the look she gave when she found out Emma was made deputy, you might imagine how she feels," laughs Kitsis.
We'll have more from the EPs after the episode airs, so be sure to check back with Zap2it. "Once Upon a Time" airs Sunday nights at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.

Ask Matt: Once Upon a Time, Grey's, Fringe, More on Laugh Tracks and More!
CITAZIONEQuestion: I love Once Upon a Time, but I am worried that the show will turn into another Lost: lots of questions, few answers and a somewhat cop-out ending. Will we see some of the characters regain their happy endings or will the show be six years of waiting for Snow White and the Prince to figure things out? I liked how the Cinderella story was resolved, but also moved the show forward. Can we expect more of this? — Tiff
Matt Roush: If you're actually enjoying Once Upon a Time, and for the most part I am as well, why spend time worrying about whether and when it will let you down? You're probably setting yourself up for disappointment if you're expecting a happily-ever-after resolution for many of the main characters anytime soon. These are still early days for a show that's obviously going to have a long shelf life, and what I expect (not getting ahead of the show) is that there will be self-contained stories based on the fairy-tale legends, revisionist twists like we saw with the Jiminy Cricket character's backstory or the Cinderella character, but other stories — Snow and the Prince, in particular — will take a long and winding (if not yellow brick) road to get to a resolution. Even so, it's already been established as part of the show's premise that everyone is living under the Evil Queen's curse, so the mysteries and questions aren't initially as confounding as the nature of the island on Lost, and there's little chance this show will go as deep down a rabbit hole (to mix even more metaphors) as Lost did to leave some of its fan base unsatisfied.

CITAZIONEHannah: Really upset about the Sheriff's death on Once Upon a Time! Does this mean Emma won't have a love interest for a while?
You're upset?! We were crying into cartons of cookie dough ice cream while listening to Joni Mitchell last night. Moving on…Emma (Jennifer Morrison) is going to be a little too busy for romance when the show returns in January, as she's battling it out with newspaper editor/Magic Mirror Sydney (Giancarlo Esposito) to replace our beloved Graham (Jamie Dornan) as the town's sheriff. Also, Morrison live-tweeted last night's episode and says, "It will be hard for [Emma] to ever open her heart again" after losing Graham. All the tears!
Jessi_RS: I love that Graham is the huntsman. Please tell me he isn't really dead and gone?
Hate to break it to ya, Patti, but Graham is in fact dead and gone. How do we know this? Dornan told us himself! In case you missed it, check out our interview with the Irish hottie, where he talks about possibly returning to the show as the Huntsman.

December 17, 2011 10:34 AM PST Once Upon a Time Casts Amy Acker as Love Interest for [Spoiler] – Get Exclusive Details
Matt Webb Mitovich
Once Upon a Time has dipped into the Whedonverse yet again to fill a guest-starring role.
Amy Acker, who had roles on both Joss Whedon’s Angel and Dollhouse, will visit ABC’s fantastical freshman drama as a romantic interest for both Grumpy (of the Seven Dwarves) and his surly Storybrooke counterpart, Leroy, in a late winter episode that delves into the grouch’s backstory.
Lee Arenberg (Grumpy/Leroy) cheered the casting via Twitter, saying that on Friday he was “living the dream” working opposite both Acker and Ginnifer Goodwin (aka Snow White/Mary Margaret) — though it was not clear in which of the show’s two worlds their scenes were taking place.
Well, TVLine can exclusively report that Acker will play characters in both Storybrooke and the fairy tale world that was.
Earlier this fall, Once cast Buffy the Vampire Slayer alumna Emma Caulfield as the Blind Witch from Hansel and Gretel lore; she will appear in this season’s ninth episode (get exclusive scoop here). Of course, Buffy/Angel/Dollhouse vet Jane Espenson is a writer/producer for Once.
Acker’s TV resume also includes ABC’s Happy Town and No Ordinary Family, and last month’s Lifetime movie Dear Santa. Ironically, she will also guest-star this winter on NBC’s Grimm, which like Once (though in a decidedly different way) revolves around fairy tale characters.
Once Upon a Time, having aired its seventh episode/fall finale this month, resumes its freshman run Jan. 8.

Spoiler Chat: Scoop on Glee, American Horror Story, Vampire Diaries and More!
19 dicembre 2011 - 17:51 da KRISTIN DOS SANTOS
mrsjmanders: loving Once Upon a Time but one thing is bugging me...when will Emma totally buy into the fairy-verse?!
If there is one person that could convince Emma (Jennifer Morrison) that all this fairy-tale stuff is true, it's adorable believer, Henry (Jared Gilmore). And consulting producer Jane Espenson, says their relationship is going to grow even more this season: "This is a woman who's never thought of herself as nurturing. And suddenly there's this kid that needs her. You're going to see later on this season when she starts to realize, she needs him. And that's a big turn for her." Is that cagey writer code for "She'll completely believe in a former fairy-verse" turn? Perhaps.
Fotreya: Any Once Upon a Time spoilers? Something about the Beauty & the Beast episode?
Let's just say that Belle (Emilie de Ravin) and Rumplestiltskin (Robert Carlyle) have a very interesting relationship. Speaking of the little creep, did you know he has a son? Yes, really! In the show's Jan. 8 episode, Rumplestiltskin attempts to track down the ultimate power source in order to help his son avert the horrors of war. Could this have something to do with his baby obsession? Hmm…
Natalievana: Have we seen the last of Sheriff Graham on Once Upon a Time?
Why must you bring up our recently deceased fictional boyfriend? And so close to Christmas?! Have you no heart? Yes, we have seen the last of Sheriff Graham (Jamie Dornan), but that doesn't mean we've seen the last of the Huntsman, his fairy-tale counterpart.

‘ONCE UPON A TIME’: RICHARD SCHIFF TEASES THE KING’S DILEMMA
Just a few days remain until we’re served up a new episode of Once Upon a Time (Jan. 8!), but Richard Schiff is already excited about the show’s eleventh episode, in which he’ll appear as Snow White’s (Ginnifer Goodwin) father, Enchanted Forest’s King Leopold. (“I don’t think I’ve ever played a king before, except in my own bedroom,” he jokes.)
Shortly before the holidays, the West Wing alum (TOBY!) chatted with me about the upcoming revealing and “intricate” story line that flashes back to his days with the Queen and his daughter, Snow White. “He certainly seems to be a happy guy at first glances,” says Schiff, who will soon also appear in Showtime’s House of Lies. “They wrote him as a happy-go-lucky guy. [He doesn't] desire anything. But at one point he says, ‘I have a prosperous kingdom, a beautiful daughter, and a lovely Queen,’ and I decided to make the Queen line not as excited as the other two items on that list. In other words, he’s unhappy and I don’t think people are ignorant [to that] … So there’s a little bit of darkness underneath him.”
And while anyone who watched the show’s fall finale can guess how the King’s story ends, Schiff, who shares scenes with Lana Parrilla, Goodwin, and magic mirror Giancarlo Esposito, says his Once costars aren’t so sure they’ve seen the last of the King. “The actors all seem to think I’m coming back, but that’s a discussion I’ve have not had with anyone else. But they all say, ‘You have to come back because you explain this and that’ and ‘You’re the reason that… ‘ But, really, they’re all guessing along with [viewers].”

Once Upon a Time Hot Shots: Hansel and Gretel Visit Emma Caulfield's Creepy Blind Witch
Once Upon a Time will enjoy an embarrassment of riches on Jan. 15 when the freshman smash introduces Hansel and Gretel and the Blind Witch (played by Buffy alum Emma Caulfield). And as you can see in the following photo gallery, the Evil Queen’s behind the fairy tale pile-up.
Seems her majesty needs an artifact that’s in the possession of the sight-deprived sorceress, so she coerces Hansel and Gretel into stealing it for her.
But as scary as the Evil Queen is, it’s Claufield creepy-looking witch who really has us quaking in our boots.
“We couldn’t think of anyone better to trap two children in a house and try to eat them,” Once co-creator Edward Kitsis told TVLine of Caulfield.
