    ABC Announces Fall Premiere Dates

    ABC announced premiere dates for the fall season, pairing the new "Charlie's Angels" with "Grey's Anatomy," following the comedies "The Middle" and "Modern Family" with the drama "Revenge," and putting two manly comedies back to back on Tuesdays.

    Fall TV: ABC Sets Premiere Dates, Including Supersized Grey's Anatomy and Modern Family




    ABC is the third network (following The CW and Fox) to unveil its detailed premiere plan for the fall TV season, and it features five “supersized” openers, including a double dose of Grey’s Anatomy and hour-long helpings of both The Middle (as we first reported) and Modern Family.

    Remember, Cougar Town arrives midseason (now airing Tuesday at 9/8c, after the fall cycle of DWTS). Also on hold for later debuts are the brand-new series Apartment 23 (to air Tuesdays after Cougar Town), Good Christian Belles, Missing, The River, Scandal (from Grey’s creator Shonda Rhimes) and Work It.

    Fall TV: CBS Sets Premiere Dates, Including NCIS, HIMYM, Big Bang and More!



    CBS is the fourth network (following The CW, Fox and ABC) to release its fall TV premiere plan, and the 23rd cycle of reality juggernaut Survivor will kick things off on Wednesday, Sept. 14.

    The Eye Net is giving its buzzy new sitcom 2 Broke Girls a special sneak preview behind the high-profile Ashton Kutcher-headlined relaunch of Two and a Half Men on Sept. 19 (delaying the return of Mike & Molly by a week). Girls will settle into its regular post-How I Met Your Mother perch on Sept. 26.

    NBC Announces Fall Premiere Dates - 'Chuck,' 'Grimm' Premiere October 21; Early Premiere for 'Parenthood'

    NBC ANNOUNCES SERIES PREMIERE DATES FOR FALL 2011 SCHEDULE



    UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – July 6, 2011 – NBC announced today the premieres of its new Fall 2011 primetime schedule beginning Tuesday, September 13 with new episodes of “Parenthood” — following the final performance episode of “America’s Got Talent” — and continuing the week of September 19 with the Monday debuts of “The Sing-Off” and new drama “The Playboy Club” on that date

    On Wednesday, September 14, the new comedies “Up All Night” (10-10:30 p.m. ET) and “Free Agents” (10:30-11 p.m. ET) will debut out of their respective time periods following the season finale of “America’s Got Talent.” Both series also will premiere in their regular time periods with their second original episodes on Wednesday, September 21 (8-8:30 p.m. ET and 8:30-9 p.m. ET, respectively).

    The debuts also include the network’s other highly anticipated new series — “Prime Suspect,” “Whitney” and “Grimm” — that will continue through October 21 when NBC rolls out its Friday-night lineup that includes “Grimm” (9-10 p.m. ET).

    In addition, the start of the regular season of “Sunday Night Football” will debut on Thursday, September 8 and resume on its regular night on Sunday, September 11 (8-11:30 p.m. ET). “Football Night in America” premieres during the regular season on Sunday, September 11 (7-8 p.m. ET).

    FOX has set the fall premiere dates for its new and returning series. The 2011-2012 season will kick off with the biggest night in television, the 63RD PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS, airing live in all time zones on Sunday, Sept. 18 (8:00-11:00 PM ET / 5:00-8:00 PM PT) on FOX.



    Glee and the gang from McKinley return Tuesday, Sept. 20 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), followed by the series debut of NEW GIRL (9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT), the new comedy starring Zooey Deschanel (“(500) Days of Summer”) as an adorkable girl who moves in with three single guys, changing their lives in unexpected ways. The Tuesday night of comedy continues with the return of the lovably hilarious Chance family on Raising Hope (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT).



    This fall, Wednesdays and Thursdays will never be the same after the spectacular two-night series premiere of The X Factor on Sept. 21 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) and Sept. 22 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). Hosted by Steve Jones and featuring judges Simon Cowell, Antonio “L.A.” Reid, Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul, the singing competition series will award the next superstar solo artist or breakout musical group a $5 million recording contract with Syco/Sony Music. FRINGE Fridays return to mystify Sept. 23 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), following the season premiere of Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT).



    Animation dominates Sunday, Sept. 25 with the season premieres of THE Simpsons (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT), The Cleveland Show (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT), Family Guy (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) and American Dad (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT). Then, on Sunday, Oct. 30 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT), catch the series premiere of ALLEN GREGORY, the new animated comedy created by and featuring The Voice of Jonah Hill (“Get Him to the Greek”) that tells the story of a pretentious 7-year-old about to embark on his greatest challenge yet: attending elementary school with children his own age.


    On Monday, Sept. 26 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) travel back in time for the special two-hour event debut of TERRA NOVA, the new epic adventure drama that follows an ordinary family on an extraordinary journey to prehistoric Earth. TERRA NOVA makes its time period premiere on Monday, Oct. 3 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), followed by the eighth season premiere of acclaimed medical drama HOUSE (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). The crime-solving team from the Jeffersonian returns for all-new episodes of Bones Thursday, Nov. 3 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) – once the MLB 2011 World Series concludes.


    On Wednesday, Nov. 23, get ready for the series premiere of I HATE MY TEENAGE DAUGHTER (9:30-10:00 PM ET/PT), the new family comedy starring Jaime Pressly (“My Name Is Earl”) and Katie Finneran (“Wonderfalls”) as single moms, life-long friends – and former nerds – who fear their privileged and overly indulged daughters are turning out just like the mean girls who picked on them in high school.


    In addition, COPS will enter its 24th season Saturday, Sept. 10 (8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT), and AMERICA’S Most Wanted will premiere the first of its two-hour quarterly specials Saturday, Oct. 29 (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT).

    June 20, 2011 (Burbank, CA) ─ The CW Network will launch the 2011-2012 season on Tuesday, September 13, with its boldest schedule yet, including four new series and returning favorites on new nights.

    On Tuesday, September 13, the graduates from 90210’s West Beverly High move over to Tuesday nights (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET). Following is one of the most buzzed-about shows of the new season, RINGER (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET), starring Sarah Michelle Gellar as a woman on the run who assumes her twin sister’s identity, only to discover that her sister’s life is just as complicated and dangerous as the one she’s trying to escape.

    On Wednesday, September 14, The CW’s new reality series H8R, hosted by Mario Lopez, makes its season premiere (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET), bringing celebrities face-to-face with the people who love to hate them, immediately followed by the first-ever All-Star cycle of AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET).

    On Thursday, September 15, The CW’s #1 show, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) returns, followed by new drama THE SECRET CIRCLE (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET), also from executive producer Kevin Williamson and based on a series of books by author L.J. Smith. Britt Robertson stars as Cassie, an orphaned teenage girl who discovers the truth about her lineage – she’s a witch who holds the key to an ancient battle between good and evil.

    On September 23, The CW unveils its new action-packed Friday, with NIKITA moving to its new night and time (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET), followed by the return of the Winchester brothers on SUPERNATURAL (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET).

    The Upper East Side drama returns on Monday, September 26, as GOSSIP GIRL moves back to its former timeslot (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET), followed by new drama HART OF DIXIE (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET). From GOSSIP GIRL executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, HART OF DIXIE stars Rachel Bilson as Dr. Zoe Hart, a sophisticated New York City woman who finds herself practicing medicine in a small Southern town.
