"They thought that I was going to turn out to be the mother … and then they saw the episode where they revealed that I wasn't, and they freaked out," the actress explains, laughing. This is great stuff to know. I wondered all along if she had been offered this role, as opposed to having to read/campaign for it as she did for the role of Zoey on HIMYM.
