Pretty cool episode tonight! Loved the part where August was trying to take control of the 'Dark One' but not realizing that he can't do that in a land that has no magic (aka Storybrooke). We don't really know how August knows about all this stuff yet but I imagine we'll find more about that next week. :)

I thought tonight's episode was a really great one for advancing the story and talk about coming full circle. So many answers! We now know that Rumpel has been looking for his son all these years, that the one deal he's ever broken is the one with Bae and that he still regrets it, why he hates fairies (and the nuns) so much, what he was burying back in the 7th episode when he ran into Graham in the woods (remember that??!), why he created the curse in the first place, that good magic is more powerful than Rumpel's magic, more about who August ISN'T (I'm still betting on Pinnochio after tonight's ep), that Sidney is still a lovesick twit, and that Emma has had it up to HERE with Regina's crap and is more than ready to fight back. These next three episodes are going to be amazing! Next week's look amazing for Emma so I'm way excited about it. :D

    I love this show!

Good synopsis, Heather. In this short space of time, I had already forgotten some of the important revelations that you included. Did I get it right, that Rumple killed that hapless, mute servant? If so, then I'll take him off my Christmas card list!

I agree--these next three episodes should be great TV. :D

    QUOTE (HeatherC12 @ 23/4/2012, 05:24)
(I'm still betting on Pinnochio after tonight's ep)

Yes! I agree with you, I was racking my head throughout the episode trying to figure out who August was, although I did think he was Bae, it seemed much too obvious.

Such an amazing episode. I loved how it ended and the fact that Emma got the last word on Regina. The next 3 episodes are going to be unbelievable TV. Is anyone else hoping for a Jefferson return? I don't know what role he would play in the defeating of Regina, other than obviously supporting Emma (which doesn't seem likely saying as she essentially threw him out of a window) but I'd love to see him appear again, wherever he disappeared to.

Words cannot express how much I love this show

Thanks for your regular posting of the Sunday night ratings, Aleki. I am most relieved to see that OUAT still leads the pack in the very important 18-49 ratings demo. I was hoping that the two week hiatus wouldn't have a negative effect, and it didn't. I think there is a solid, loyal core of fans now, and that could very well grow over the next three, exciting weeks.

Someone else on the show is going to DIE? Oh no, Mr. Bill :o:

In the opening scene of this episode, who do you think August was talking to on the "bat phone" after he fell out of bed? And he's sick? From what, I wonder?

Also, Jane Espenson suggested, in a recent Q & A, that we should watch for a clue with that paperweight in August's room. It looked like a dog to me, but I missed the significance.

And, yes Samantha, it will be cool to have Jefferson return--hopefully, in one of the three upcoming episodes. :)
