Master storytellers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz ("Lost," "Tron: Legacy") invite everyone to join Emma Swan, Snow White, Prince Charming, Rumplestiltskin, Hook and the Evil Queen Regina as they travel through a portal on the Jolly Roger in an effort to reach Neverland and save Henry. But Neverland is a much darker place than you remember, and in order for our heroes to accomplish their mission, they'll have to face a foe more powerful than the Dark One himself. What does Peter Pan want with Henry? Can our heroes put aside their differences and work together? Will Aurora, Mulan and Prince Phillip be able to nurse Neal back to health and reunite him with his family? New fairytale characters will be revealed and old acquaintances will be revisited. So think of a wonderful thought... because our Neverland's going to be a fever dream that just won't break.
In the season premiere episode, "Heart of the Truest Believer," as Emma, Mary Margaret, David, Regina, Mr. Gold and Hook enter Neverland to search for a kidnapped Henry, they're greeted by a school of not-to-friendly mermaids who threaten to end their search before it begins; Henry finds himself on the run from the Lost Boys with another escapee from Peter Pan's encampment; and Neal, recovering from his wounds, travels through the Enchanted Forest with Mulan in an attempt to learn the fates of Emma and Henry, on "Once Upon a Time," SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 29 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.
Note: This episode will repeat Sunday, October 6 from 7:00-8:00 p.m., ET.
"Once Upon a Time" stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as the Evil Queen/Regina, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David, Emilie de Ravin as Belle, Colin O'Donoghue as Hook, Michael Raymond-James as Baelfire/Neal Cassidy, Jared S. Gilmore as Henry Mills and Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold.
Guest starring are Sarah Bolger as Aurora, Jamie Chung as Mulan, Julian Morris as Prince Phillip, Ethan Embry as Greg Mendell, Sean Maguire as Robin Hood, Robbie Kay as fugitive boy, Sonequa Martin-Green as Tamara, Parker Croft as Felix, Natasha Wilson as mermaid, Dave Mathews as doctor and Joy Castro as nurse.
"Heart of the Truest Believer" was written by Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz and directed by Ralph Hemecker.
"Once Upon a Time" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1 channel surround sound. Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz are creators and executive producers. Steve Pearlman is also executive producer. The show is from ABC Studios. This program carries a TV-PG,V parental guideline.

Ohhhh, we finally get some pics and the synopsis! Now I'm getting even more excited for the season premiere although I was all ready starting to get pretty amped for it. Come on premiere week!!

Once Upon a Time Season 3 SpoilersWarning: The following contains spoilers from the Season 3 premiere of Once Upon a Time.
ABC’s Once Upon a Time dropped anchor in Neverland this Sunday night, and with the arrival of Emma, Hook et al in this lush realm ruled by Lost Boys came at least one big reveal plus many new questions.
For one, as unveiled in the Season 3 premiere’s final moments, the kindly lad who rescued Henry from a pack of Lost Boys is, in fact, Peter Pan himself – and in Henry he has found a prize greater than any: the heart of the truest believer.
Discussing their version of Pan, who is here envisioned as a ruthless OnceS3-panrascal, Once cocreator Eddy Kitsis told TVLine, “What we’re excited about is you’ve got a 15-year-old [character] who may actually be 200 years old, so he has that wisdom, but he’s also got the spunk of that kid who’s still going to taunt you in the locker room.
“[Pan] is a twisted little s—t,” Kitsis adds.
Meanwhile, the show’s creators consider themselves “very lucky” in casting Robbie Kay (of the international miniseries Pinocchio) in this pivotal role. “When you see him, especially in the second episode, you’re going to be like, ‘Uh, uh, ohhhhh,’” Kitsis promises. Adds cocreator Adam Horowitz: “Robbie has been able to hold his own, with everyone from Jennifer Morrison to Ginny Goodwin to Robert Carlyle – and that’s not easy.”
At a separate press event for Once Season 3, Kitsis and Horowitz also weighed in on these burning questions born of the premiere:
DOES RUMPLESTILTSKIN HAVE DADDY ISSUES? | And how, as OnceS3-rumpleindicated when Lost Boy Felix whipped out a straw doll that obviously had great meaning to The Dark One, leaving him in tears. “We’ve hinted in the past that his father was a coward, and that his father’s name was something that haunted him,” Kitsis reminds. “This is a many who wants to break the cycle of his past and be a good father, but you know the quote: ‘I can resist everything but temptation.’” Episode 4, “Nasty Habits,” will explore this further.
IS EMMA EVEN THINKING ABOUT ROMANCE? | Captain Hook may be flirty and rather charming to some, but fresh off Neal’s “death” and with son Henry missing, Emma’s not looking for a Hook-up. Just yet. “Right now, Emma is focused on getting Henry,” says Kitsis. Besides, “She’s not someone who lets her walls down – her heart’s been broken too many times to be worried about ‘dating’ right now.”
UH-OH — IS ARIEL A MEAN MERMAID, TOO?! | Not to worry, OnceS3-mermaid“She’s going to be different from what you saw in the premiere,” Horowitz assures. Adds Kitsis, “The spirit of Ariel is somebody who wants to see the world and experience [new] things… and that is definitely similar to our Ariel” (played by JoAnna Garcia Swisher in Episode 6).
WITH PAN COMES RUFIO, RIGHT…? | Not so fast. Though one of this summer’s casting calls used that name from Robin Williams’ Hook movie, “I don’t think we can show him, because he’s the property of Columbia and Sony Pictures,” Kitsis explains. However, Tinker Bell will show up in Episode 3, while the Darling kids – first seen in Season 2′s “Second Star to the Right” – “are integral to the Peter Pan story, and we have not forgotten about them,” says Horowitz. “There is a tie into what we’re doing with them as well.”
IS ROBIN HOOD A KEEPER? | As previously reported, Sean Maguire will play the Prince of Thieves in multiple episodes – and not just during this 11-episode Neverland arc. “We’re definitely going to get a lot of him in the second half” of this season, says Kitsis.
WILL NEAL REVEAL TO MULAN WHAT HAPPENS IN HER BIG-SCREEN, ANIMATED ADVENTURE? | Even assuming he can eventually explain to her what a “movie” is, there will be no opportunity for him to “spoil” his Fairytale Land cohort’s destiny. “She’s just going to have to wait,” says Kitsis, “and maybe one day get the DVD.”
WILL NEAL FIND A WAY TO RETURN TO EMMA? | “Come hell or high water” – and presumably with the help of Robin Hood, Mulan et al – “Neal is going to get back to Neverland,” Kitsis attests. But first, Horowitz warns, “There’s a bit more of a wrinkle to their story that we’ll delve into in Episode 3.”OnceS3-birth
WE’VE SEEN HENRY BORN. NOW WHAT ABOUT HIS ADOPTION? | Echoing that which TVLine previously scooped, Kitsis says, “If I were betting, it would be around Episode 9″ that we see Regina being gifted with a son.
WHEN WILL WE RETURN TO STORYBROOKE? | Meaning we the audience, not the characters navigating Neverland. “It’s going to be a little while,” Horowitz shares — though that won’t preclude an appearance by Belle beforehand.

I LOVED IT! OUAT is back and better than ever!!!! Welcome to Neverland! 
I need to get some sleep tonight but I'll try to visit again tomorrow and chat with you all about the episode. I had a rough day overall but OUAT was totally fabulous and really cheered me up (which I know this sounds odd since the show was a little dark but I'm just thrilled it's back on my TV again after a long summer).

TV Ratings Sunday: 'Once Upon a Time', 'Revenge', 'The Simpsons' & 'Family Guy' Return Down, 'Betrayal' Premieres Low

NBC was number one among adults 18-49 and with total viewers.
On NBC Sunday Night Football, which featured a match-up between the Patriots and the Falcons earned a preliminary 6.7 down 29 percent from last week's preliminary 6.9 adults 18-49 rating from 8:30-11PM.
On ABC, a Once Upon A Time clip show earned a 1.3 adults 18-49 rating down 32 percent from last year’s 1.9 on September 30, 2012. The season premiere of Once Upon A Time scored a 2.6 down 33 percent from last year’s 3.9 but up 13 percent from a 2.3 for last spring’s finale. Your predictions were accurate. The season premiere of Revenge garnered a 2.4 adults 18-49 rating down 25 percent from last year’s 3.2 but up 41 percent from a 1.7 for the season 2 finale on May 12. The series premiere of Betrayal notched a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating down 29 percent from a 2.1 for the series premiere of 666 Park Avenue in the timeslot last year and tying Red Widow as ABC's lowest in-season Sunday debut ever. Those who wish to play Fan Excuse Bingo will note that last year, ABC’s primetime lineup was not competing with the series finale of Breaking Bad.
Note: CBS’s primetime line-up was delayed by fifteen minutes in multiple East Coast markets including New York, Chicago, Houston, Detroit, Tampa, Nashville, Hartford, Kansas City, Memphis and Knoxville, due to football overruns. Consider these numbers scrambled! However, it's safe to say that all of CBS's programs are down from last year.
On FOX, NFL Football scored a preliminary 6.3 adults 18-49 rating. The season premiere of The Simpsons earned a 2.8 adults 18-49 rating down 26 percent from last year’s 3.8 on Sunday, September 30, 2012. The season premiere of Bob’s Burgers garnered a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating down 19 percent from last year’s 2.6. The season premiere of Family Guy notched a 2.6 adults 18-49 rating down 21 percent from a 3.3 last year. The season premiere of American Dad scored a 2.1 adults 18-49 rating down 16 percent from last year’s 2.5.
